test overview page

Our state-of-the-art technologies ensure accuracy, efficiency, and comfort. Our dental equipment is safe, effective, and well-maintained. Some of our dental technologies include those listed below:

Digital X-Rays

Our advanced digital x-rays magnify and enhance your teeth for better diagnosis and treatment. This technology allows us to take images of your teeth and display them on a computer screen quickly and easily.

Intra-oral Camera

The intra-oral camera is about the size and shape of a pen. It is used to record images of your teeth, gums, mouth, and tongue from inside your mouth. Due to its small size and sleek design, it is comfortable, easy to use, and able to view a wide range of angles. The intra-oral camera is a safe and effective tool that can be used with patients of every age.

Soft Tissue Lasers

With soft tissue lasers at our disposal, Dr. Tau can provide precise high-quality treatments that are relatively pain-free, less invasive, and useful for a wide variety of dental treatments.

iTero® Intra-Oral Scanner

What is the secret to making a great impression? We use our iTero® intra-oral digital scanner to ensure that the impressions we take are accurate, efficient, and comfortable every time.

The Canary System

The Canary System is a low-power, pulsating laser that uses infrared sensors to detect subtle changes in heat and light (less than 1 degree Celsius) to examine for the presence of tooth demineralization (structural breakdown) and early dental decay. It can find decay in areas that are undetectable to the eye, up to 5mm below the tooth surface, and in areas that are difficult to detect with dental x-rays.

Rotary Endodontics Handpiece

A rotary endodontics handpiece is a tool designed to be used in root canal therapy. By using this handpiece, we can complete the treatment gently and efficiently. This allows you to have a quicker and more comfortable treatment experience.

Identafi 3000

This handheld scope uses 3 different wavelengths of light to scan the tissues in your mouth. This light creates distinct visual patterns on health and unhealthy tissues through natural fluorescence and reflectance. With this screening light, we can more accurately discover potential oral cancers in early, highly treatable stages.

Sterilization Center

Our central unit cleans, sterilizes, and stores our instruments in the most efficient and hygienic manner possible.

Digital Imaging and Computer Smile Simulation

After we take a picture of your current smile, we do several calculations on the computer concerning the balance and symmetry of your face to design the best smile possible. Then we let the computer do its magic, and in minutes, we have an excellent simulation of what your new smile will look like.

Digital Camera

For excellent “before” and “after” photos to show off your new look.

Digital Shade Matching

Allows the laboratory to digitally match the color of your tooth.

Televisions and DirecTV in all treatment rooms

Make the time fly by in a relaxing and engaging manner. Choose from television and DirecTV.

Dental Magnification Loops

These high-tech glasses enable Dr. Tau to perform his work more precisely.

Apex Locator

We use this instrument to help us locate the tip of your tooth during a root canal

Paperless office and chair-side computers

We eliminate the time you once spent waiting while we wrote on paper charts.

Computerized Intra-Office Communication System

Aids in the efficiency of your care.

Laser Scanner

Laser light is beamed beneath the hard enamel layer and reflected to a handheld device. This makes it possible to measure the decay lurking below the tooth enamel.
